ABOUT THE EVENT / What to expect...

Now in its 10th year, BC Uncorked is a unique BC-focused food and wine festival. The event showcases wines from over 45 top-rated BC wineries, matched with intriguing foods provided by 8-10 of the best local restaurants and caterers.

New in March 2018… featuring over a dozen new top-rated wineries who have not previously joined us at the festival.  We’re also thrilled to welcome the team at Marquis Wine Cellars who will be operating an online wine store!

BC Uncorked is proud to partner with Team Taylor of The Ride to Conquer Cancer on behalf of leading-edge research at the BC Cancer Foundation.

Event FAQS / Find your answers

What is the date and time of the event?

BC Uncorked is being held on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 from 7pm to 9:30pm.

Where is the event held?

BC Uncorked is being held at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club located at 3251 Plateau Blvd. in Coquitlam. We are taking over both levels of the clubhouse for this annual event.

What does my ticket price include?

The BC Uncorked Wine & Food Festival is a non-token event.  Your entry fee includes wine samples and food samples from all of the participating vendors. Remember that with over 175 wines available, it’s not possible to taste everything in the room. Enjoy your sample, then use the available spit buckets and water jugs to rinse your glass.

New at the March festival is the Marquis Wine Cellars wine store!  As you enjoy your evening make a note of your favourite wines, then stop by the wine store booth to process your order.  It’s as simple as that!

* NOTE: Should any guests arrive at the festival intoxicated they will not be permitted entry and their ticket will be forfeited.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online. If you are unable to purchase online, or if you require assistance, we will also have telephone sales available.  Call 604-463-1998 to reach our customer service team.

How does the e-ticket system work?

The team at BC Uncorked is working hard to make the check-in process at the event quick and easy.  Follow the prompts to purchase your tickets online, then make sure to bring your ticket with you to the event either as a hard copy or on your mobile device. The barcodes will be scanned on entry to the event.

NOTE: Should any guests arrive at the festival intoxicated they will not be permitted entry and their ticket will be forfeited.

Is there a safe ride home program?

Greater Vancouver Designated Drivers (GVDD) can get you and your car home safely.  Visit their website at or call 604-917-0177. Arrangements may also be made on-site to use this service, however it is recommended to book ahead.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided by Vancouver Beer & Wine Tours who will be taking guests to the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station located on the Evergreen Skytrain line.  The shuttle will be making loops between the venue and the Evergreen Line from 9pm to 11pm. No other stops will be made.

The BC Liquor Store’s “Get Home Safe” program is providing complimentary Compass transit tickets.  Passes are available on a first-come basis.  Visit the concierge desk on-site at the event for details.

Taxis are not readily available at this venue and have proven to be a challenge to arrange.  It is highly recommended to plan for an alternate way home to avoid any last minute complications in leaving the venue.

Is there a discount for designated drivers?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer discounted designated driver tickets as our event doesn’t operate on a token system. There will be non-alcoholic beverages available, and guests can enjoy food samples from all of the participating restaurants and catering companies.

Can I cancel my ticket for a refund?

The BC Uncorked Food & Wine Festival is a charity fundraiser so refunds are not available, however your ticket(s) are transferable.  Contact our customer service team to update the e-ticket with the new guest name by email or call 604-463-1998.  Any ticket name changes must be made at least one week prior to the event.

What is the age of the guests that attend the tasting?

The event welcomes guests over the age of 19. No minors are permitted at the event (please note this includes babies and infants).  Two (2) pieces of government issued ID will be requested of guests who appear to be under the age of 30.
